We encourage our church family to get together outside of worship times. Our church offers a range of social, learning and volunteer events that help strengthen our members as individuals and as a community.

WOMEN + FAITH: DISCUSSION GROUP

Christ Care is a group of women who come together to read and study a Christian book as well as encourage,

uplift,  and pray for one another.

​

Women of all ages and all faith are welcome to join!

Three meeting times available.

Dementia Caregivers Support Group

This group comes together for support and to share information. We are happy to welcome new participants caring for or in a relationship with someone with any dementia, Alzheimer’s or memory problem.

All caregivers, whether family or not, are invited.

​

1st Wednesday of each month

10:30 am to Noon

Created In Love

Created In Love creates and provides shawls, lap blankets and hats of different sizes and shapes to residents of several skilled nursing facilities, the VA, Gospel Rescue Mission and the Women’s Crisis Support Team. Our creations also include loveys/littles which are very small blankets (anxiety reducers) given to young children receiving care at urgent care centers.

Join us for a monthly hike as we explore God's creation in and around Grants Pass. Expert hikers, casual ramblers, fast walkers and the slow and steady, this is for you! Some may hike the entire trail, some might just do half, but no one gets left behind.

3 Practices Circles

LISTENING IS A TEAM SPORT

A 3Practice Circle isn’t a debate or even a discussion, it truly is a safe place for seeking clarity and understanding, with no obligation to agree. The Circle is designed to make sure nobody gets ambushed, talked over, bullied, advantaged or disadvantaged. There’s a referee who makes sure folks stay on time, on task and civil.

Al-Anon

FOR FRIENDS & FAMILY OF ALCOHOLICS

​

Al‑Anon is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking. By sharing common experiences and applying the Al-Anon principles, families and friends of alcoholics can bring positive changes to their individual situations, whether or not the alcoholic admits the existence of a drinking problem or seeks help.

​

Al-Anon meets each Tuesday at 6:00 in the

"Fireside Room" @ Bethany Presbyterian Church.

​

No fee is required to attend.

Bethany is well known for its quality music programming. Led by Kate Campbell, Music Director our Chancel Choir lifts their voices in song at our weekly services.

Worship at Countryside Village

WORSHIP  •  MUSIC  •  COMMUNION

Pastor Tom Berry & Music Director Kate Campbell are leading worship at Countryside Village once a month. The service lasts about 30 minutes. Join us as we sing, pray and hear God's word. The Sacrament of Communion will  also be celebrated.  All are welcome in worship and at the table.

ROGUE AREA SENIOR COMPUTER ASSISTANCE LEAGUE

 

Seniors Helping Seniors Use and Enjoy Their Computers

The purpose of the organization is to assist seniors (50+) in learning how to use computers and other technology related devices. Classes include the Windows operating systems for PCs, Apple/Mac operating systems, MS Office applications, Email, Internet browsers and many more. 

 

Classes are held in the "Fireside Room" @ Bethany Presbyterian Church. Class schedules vary.

Classes require pre-registration and a fee for each class.
